Tryouts will be held April 17-18, 2010 in Pershing Small gym (PB 130). Registration will begin at 8 am April 17.  Clinic will begin promptly at 9 am, break for an hour lunch and conclude at 5 pm.  During clinic each prospective Showgirl will learn a 6-8 eight count routine comprised of pom/ jazz/ kick/ hip-hop, etc. and will be required to complete it with their own choreography.  Dancers will also learn the fight song and a 2-3 count sideline routine.  Potential team members must attend the clinic on April 17 to tryout for the 2010-2011 squad.

Actual tryouts will begin Sunday, April 18 at 9 am and there will be a new team meeting in the afternoon following the announcement of the 2010-2011 squad.  All clinics and tryouts will be closed to the public.  Both clinic and tryouts are mandatory; we will not be accepting video tryouts.

All potential new Showgirls must bring completed Information Form and Informed Consent Form to registration.  All participants should wear comfortable dance wear and refrain from wearing any items which identify a group or organization that you are involved with.  This includes, but is not limited to, previous university, current university, previous dance organization, current dance organization, sorority, and NDA/UDA apparel.
